Youth Voice Journal (YVJ™) is the world's leading peer-reviewed journal publishing theoretical contributions and empirical studies on international issues affecting young people and youth work. YVJ™ is published by RJ4All Publications and is ranked and indexed by Scopus, ORCID, Kudos, Criminal Justice Abstracts, EBSCO and ERIH PLUS.
IARS has always aspired to be a leader in creating new knowledge and forming public and expert opinion on matters involving Youth, Justice and Equality. When Dr. Theo Gavrielides founded the Youth Voice Journal (YVJ) in 2009, his aim was to create a space that allowed academics and young people to publish their research on a peer-reviewed platform in the hopes that this collection of evidence-based research changes the way we view matters that affect us all.
Over the years, the YVJ has grown in stature and has an ever increasing, strong online presence. We are proud to announce that our Journal has been approved for indexing by one of the biggest indexing channels in Europe. The European Reference Index for the Humanities and the Social Sciences (ERIH PLUS) has now been added to our reputable list of references indices including Scopus, ORCID Kudos, Criminal Justice Abstracts and EBSCO Information Services. Click here to find the listing of the journal on the ERIH PLUS website.
We are also excited to reveal to you that this year we will be publishing YVJ Special Issues that focus on young people from different cultures and experiences. At the end of the month we will be revealing our first LBGT Special Issue with Dr Jason Schaub as the Guest Editor. We also hope to publish Issues for Mental Health Awareness Week, Refugee Week and Black History Month.
Due to this expansion and introduction of the YVJ Special Issues, the Editor encourages and welcomes submissions on an ongoing basis. If you are interested please refer to our editorial policy and submission guidelines.
We are certain that our growing presence will help our charitable mission to give everyone a chance to forge a safer, fairer, and more inclusive society.
