Youth Voice Journal (YVJ) is an international, multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal that publishes theoretical contributions and empirical studies on international issues affecting young people. YVJ is published by IARS Publications, a member of COPE. YVJ is ranked and indexed by Scopus, ORCID, Kudos, Criminal Justice Abstracts, EBSCO Information Services and The European Reference Index for the Humanities and the Social Sciences (ERIH PLUS).
The topic of this research is whether education is important for young people. In general, education is significant, as it makes humans complete and useful providing them with knowledge. The worth of education has been recognized by many personalities and protected by legislation. Especially for the youth, it is even more important, because education can change every single aspect of their life for the better. Each young person who has access to the educational system has the ability to improve their life. However, some of them, such as women, immigrants, people with disabilities or from low social groups do not have access. For this reason, the responsible should take measures, in order to protect all of the young, as education is important for them.
