Facilitated by the internet, Canadian public legal education is in the process of becoming organised around significant providers based at the provincial level. While this represents an important advance in a field that has languished for many years, there is insufficient coordination at the national level. As well, with the exception of Éducaloi in Quebec, providers are making poor use of the advantages offered by information technology. Improved financing is necessary, and the greater involvement of young people would be wise.
